Satyam Kumar/Bhagalpur: Changes are being seen in the agricultural system of Bihar. People are leaving the old patterns and doing farming in new ways. Experiments are also being done on new fruits and vegetables for farming. The farming we are going to talk about now is the farming of beans. Beans are often seen during cold days. But this farmer from Bihar is now growing beans in summer. Gunjesh Gunjan, a farmer from Kajreli in Bhagalpur, is growing this vegetable during summer and earning good profits.
Talking to Local 18, Gunjesh told that it is called French beans. Which can be grown in summer and is available at a good price in the market. Beans are a vegetable which is not available in the market during summer, but we experiment with such vegetable only. Whose cultivation is not possible here. Because it gets a good price in the market. This results in 3 to 4 times profit.
farming after research
He told that even before this we had cultivated beans which were sold in the market at Rs 20 to 22 per kg. But when I started researching on this, I had to go to Maharashtra, where this bean is grown, it is a French bean. He told that when he saw these beans, he learned its method and after coming here, I planted it in 10 pots as a trial. When it came to fruition, it bore very good fruit. But for this, some hard work had to be done and some natural medicines had to be used accordingly. After this it started bearing fruit.
Specialty of this beans
Gunjesh told that when the beans run out in the market, then these beans start arriving in the market. Whose price ranges from ₹40 to ₹50 per kg. Therefore, there is a good profit in this farming. He told that I had ordered this seed online only. Gunjesh told that if any farmer wants to do this farming then it is a very profitable farming and the most important thing is that the weight of this beans is more than that of other beans. Therefore, many more benefits can be seen in this farming.
